Corporate Affairs Coordinator Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated professional to work closely with the Director of Corporate Affairs at a leading, global and privately-owned company with headquarters in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This position will provide personal and professional support on an individual basis and work as an integral part of the executive office team within a fast paced, dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is energetic, motivated and desires to go the extra mile. The position will handle all details related to communications, travel and event planning, scheduling and coordination with other staff.
This person must have outstanding organizational skills and be able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and follow through on issues in a timely manner. A high degree of professionalism and the ability to handle confidential information and assignments with the utmost discretion is crucial to this role. Expert level of verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, strong decision making ability and flexibility within a frequently changing environment are equally important.
The successful candidate for this position will have proven expertise to organize a significant flow of work and meet demanding deadlines while representing the organization in a positive and professional manner. Prior event, travel planning and public relations experience is required. The ability to remain connected and be available outside of regular business hours is critical to the success of this position.
A four year degree and three to five years experience are required. An MBA with five years experience is preferred.
