Downtown Grand Rapids, Inc. is seeking a Strategic Marketing and Communications Manager. DGRI is a new organization that will open its door in September of 2013. DGRI will combine the staffs, resources and energies of the DDA, Downtown Alliance and DID into one cohesive and effective organization, and create a new Board of Advisors that will develop the downtown vision, steer a collective impact for the downtown, and provide leadership and advocacy.
With the impending creation of Downtown Grand Rapids Inc. (DGRI), the Strategic Marketing and Communications Manager will be responsible for the creation and implementation of a new strategic and comprehensive marketing and communications plan that will position Downtown Grand Rapids as the essential downtown for West Michigan. The individual selected will launch the newly developed downtown brand image and implement the brand positioning; he/she will market Downtown Grand Rapids and DGRI. The Strategic Marketing and Communication Manager will oversee marketing and communications initiatives, advertising, programs, DGRI events, community outreach and social media.
