Must have demonstrated writing expertise and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Should have proven experience supervising staff and initiating complex communications projects. Essential functions include:
• Drives the design, development, implementation, and execution of communication and marketing initiatives, to all audiences across multiple platforms/channels.
• Responsible for strategic planning and implementation of communication and marketing plans, including managing internal clients throughout the process.
• Ability to coordinate all steps of the complex communications and marketing process while coordinating with colleagues within the department and throughout the organization. Basic Qualifications: Education - Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing or Public Relations or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience - 8 years experience in a work environment with transferrable skills, with 3 years in communications consulting OR sustained performance in Coordinator 3 role or similar role in Spectrum Health that exceeds expectations
Preferred Qualifications: Experience - Background in health care communications, preferably with a large health care system
