The Project Manager is responsible for a variety of initiatives within the Marketing Department. 2. What is your main objective in that role?
My main objective is to support the organization’s marketing efforts in putting together proposals, events, press releases, and running social media among many other things.
3. How long have you been a member of WMPRSA?
I joined WMPRSA in November, 2011.
4. Why did you join WMPRSA?
I was involved in Ferris State University’s PRSSA Chapter the last four years and held the position of VP of PR. I attended a couple of WMPRSA meetings during that time, and I enjoyed the meetings. The information that is presented is almost always relevant to my current role at Progressive AE.
5. If you could have a job anywhere in the world, where and what would it be?
Anywhere in the world? Well to be honest, I chose to move to Grand Rapids because this is where I wanted to live and work. I’ve moved all over growing up and have lived in New Jersey, Indiana, and many different parts of Michigan, but I’m really happy where I’m at right now.
6. Name a favorite website and explain why you like it.
Well I’m a sports nut so obviously I’m a frequent visitor of ESPN’s site, but I really enjoy combing through yahoo’s news stories. They always seem to have the most interesting and unique topics covered.
