Grand Rapids Public Library - Main Branch is seeking a part time Library Communications Assistant. This is professional communications/public relations work of an entry- to mid- level nature, providing assistance in planning and implementation of organizational marketing and public relations activities. The position requires initiative, creativity, organization and advanced communication skills, as well as graphic design or desktop publishing skills, web page design skills, solid writing skills, the ability to meet deadlines while working on multiple tasks, and the ability to work with diverse staff and public. The position reports directly to the Marketing and Communications Manager and serves as a support to other organizational departments.
