Seeking a competent intern to coordinate and administer social media for the Diocese of Grand Rapids, including content for the diocesan Facebook page and Twitter feed. • Creative, organized and accountable; willing to work remotely to monitor social media. • Someone with a heart for good storytelling and the ability to research content online and create posts containing authentic Catholic content that appeals to a broad audience. • Ability to craft text that might at times be serious, reflective, humorous or topical if the need arises. • Someone who would be comfortable quickly orienting themselves to an office environment and interacting with contacts in various departments and ministries to obtain information. • Familiarity with Catholic Church teaching, basic web design experience and knowledge of social media management helpful. Basic photography and graphic design skills also a plus.

WEB DESIGNER/DEVELOPER - FALL 2011 INTERNSHIP DESCRIPTION: SeyferthPR, a public relations agency in downtown Grand Rapids, seeks to fill immediately a graphic designer internship position for the fall. This is a part-time internship (20 hours per week, Mon.-Fri., 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.) and pays $8 per hour.

Applicant requirements:

* Must be senior level or recent graduate in graphic design. * Must have experience in industry standard tools (e.g., Adobe Suite, HTML, Dreamweaver, CMS, PHP, Mac and Windows platforms, Microsoft software). * Must have solid communication skills; be creative,self-directed and able to handle multiple projects.

Intern to assist Creative Services Director on a daily basis with concept development and client/project management. Projects elements include print, web, video and social media. Gain hands-on experience, broaden your knowledge base and build a professional network.
