As we enter 2025, the social media landscape has become tumultuous as ever. Between the discourse around TikTok, the continued evolution of X and new, up-and-coming platforms for people to consume content such as Bluesky and RedNote, the understanding and knowledge of how to properly engage stakeholders can be challenging. Join us to hear from Megan Angelastro and Rachel Wherry, of GCI Health, who will share the latest on key digital platforms and what this year could bring in terms of emerging players, content trends and overall impact on audiences and creators.

Megan Angelastro, Senior Vice President, GCI Health

Megan Angelastro is a seasoned social/digital strategist with 13+ years of experience driving digital engagement for a diverse bench of clients. A skilled consultant in integrated campaigns, paid social strategies, and social content optimization, Megan leverages expertise across all major social channels and a suite of AI-based management, listening, and analytics tools. Currently at GCI Health, she leads social strategy and activation for prominent biopharma clients including Bristol-Myers Squibb, Jazz Pharmaceuticals, and Mitsubishi Tanabe Pharma America. Her prior experience at Real Chemistry included coordinating social campaigns and managing paid media optimization for clients such as Astellas, Pfizer, Karuna, and Ipsen.

Rachel Wherry, Account Director, GCI Health

Rachel has been a member of the GCIH Digital team for eight years, specializing in developing integrated digital channel and content strategies for both consumer and corporate social media in the healthcare space. With a deep understanding of digital engagement, she leverages her expertise to drive impactful, data-driven solutions that enhance brand presence and audience connections for her clients.
